CNN Travel named the Palm Springs Air Museum one of the top 14 aviation museums in the world and it’s easy to see why. Three hangars hold over 40 vintage planes you can actually touch and explore. And docents, many of whom fought in those planes, will amaze you with riveting true stories you can’t read on any placard.
