Splash House: Wet ‘n Wild Summer Fun

When temperatures soar, what could be better than a pool party? How about a pool party that’s also a mini music festival?! Held over two weekends in August and spread across swimming pools at three different resorts, Splash House brings some of electronic music’s most in vogue artists to the desert for the biggest party of the summer. And even if you don’t want to get wet, the Splash House vibe brings a burst of energy and activity to all of Palm Springs that’s not to be missed.

This year the Splash House festival returns for two back-to-back weekends, August 9-11 and August 16-18. Each weekend features a different poolside line-up of top DJs and legendary house artists on both Saturday and Sunday from noon to sundown at three different Palm Springs resorts. Highlights of the packed 2024 line up include BODY HI by Alesso, The Blessed Madonna, Disco Dom, MEDUZA, SG Lewis, and Chris Lorenzo.

Pool hopping between the three different parties is part of the Splash House fun. General Admission passes include transportation on shuttle buses connecting the Renaissance, Saguaro, and Margaritaville hotels. Upgraded passes, tables, and cabanas are also available. Bring your own floatie and don’t forget the sunscreen!

Prefer to spend your day at Santiago? There’s still Splash House fun to be had. Once the sun sets, the celebration moves to dry land for festival-style dance party like no other. Join fellow revelers on the tarmac of the Palm Springs Air Museum for a night of four-on-the-floor under the stars, complete with special effects and vintage airplanes in the background. After Hours passes are sold separately from GA passes. We recommend splurging on a VIP After Hours pass for access to the venue’s “first class” hangar where you’ll find a private bar, specialty drinks, comfortable seating, and a reserved stage viewing area.

Of course, Splash House isn’t the only pool party in town this summer. There’s usually something scheduled at Hotel Zoso, and Trixie Motel hosts monthly pool parties hosted by some of our favorite drag queens. Or make your own waves at Santiago. The pool stays open all night, and swimsuits are always optional.
